As discussed above, the gas detectors should re-calibrate periodically. Therefore, to set the standard values, we need refer standard samples for recalibration.

Additionally, a new gas sensor is always in good condition. However, to achieve the best possible accuracy, a sensor must be calibrated in the system where it will be used. That is why we need to calibrate the gas detector system when it is installed.
